The costume dramaFlourished Peony, currently airing on Mango TV and Hunan Satellite TV, tells a fictional story of a woman named He Weifang who, during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), runs a business cultivating peonies and managing a flower shop.

正在芒果TV和湖南卫视播出的古装剧《国色芳华》，讲述了主角何惟芳在唐朝培育牡丹开启花店经商的故事。

Starring actress Yang Zi and actor Li Xian, the drama shows the gardens, architecture and attire of the Tang Dynasty, allowing viewers to experience the beauty of traditional Chinese culture. During the series broadcast, many cities saw a surge in sales at peony plantations and flower markets.

剧播期间，不少城市的牡丹种植基地和花卉市场迎来了新一波销售高峰。

Zhao Wenshuang, the secretary-general of the Peony Industry Association in Mudan district, Heze city of Shandong province, mentioned that due to the popularity of the TV series, the peak sales period for peonies in Heze arrived three days earlier this year, with sales expected to increase by one-third compared to the same period in previous years.

山东菏泽牡丹区牡丹产业协会秘书长、菏泽花王产业园负责人赵文双表示，因电视剧《国色芳华》的热播，菏泽牡丹销量峰值今年提前3天到来，销量比往年同期增长1/3。

The series has also premiered overseas with wide distribution on video platforms, reaching 73 countries and regions, including the United States, France, Spain, and Portugal.
