China) Abstract: The physicochemical properties of six substrates namely peat 1#, peat 1#, bagasse , vermiculite + per- lite (1 : 1) , peat + perlite (1 : 1) , peat + perlite + bagasse (1 : 1 : 1) were studied. 币le results implied that all the tested substrates showed good porosity and water retaining capac坷， proper volume weight and certain buffer capacity. Except for vermiculite + perlite (1: 1) , other 5 kinds of substrates had satisfied contents of N , P and K, and the contents of other mineral elements were all rich , met the requirements for soilless culture. The physicochemical properties of substrates with several elements were hetter than the substrates with single ingredient.
