Abstract: Prunus mume germplasm resources are the material basis of Prunus mume breeding, which play an important role in breeding, cultivation, physiology and genetics. This paper reviewed the main research progress of Prunus mume germplasm resources from the aspects of variety diversity, morphological and character diversity, genetic diversity, resource development and utilization diversity, and discussed the future development trend of Prunus mume, in order to provide reference for further research and comprehensive development and utilization in the future.
