Ltd., Zhengzhou 450008,China； 2.Zhengzhou Vegetable Research Institute,Zhengzhou 450015,China;） Abstract: Different kinds of branches, different cutting media, and period, were investigated to find the effect on seedling propagation of Euphorbia pulcherrima. The results showed that: rooting can be higher up to 96.2% when vermiculite the rooting was used as cutting media；when cutting was conducted in spring ,the rooting rate was 20% higher than that in autumn, in addition date can be advanced 9 days.
