◎ 花(Flower) 花為種子植物之生殖器官，為莖的分枝；花主要由花葉(floral leaf)組成，短縮密生於短 枝頂端。花葉為葉的變形，與普通葉不同；花乃著生各種生殖器官的特殊短枝，與生殖具 有直接或間接的關係。 典型的被子植物，花葉 由下而上 、由外而內分為萼片(sepal) 、花瓣(petal) 、雄蕊(staman) 、 雌蕊(pistil)4 部分，萼片、花瓣與生殖作用無直接關係，具保護作用，為生殖之輔助器官。 裸子植物的花，為在短枝中軸之周圍著生許多鱗片狀的葉，稱為苞片(bract scale) ，自各 苞片腋生 的鱗片(實片、實葉 scale) ，則為短枝之變形。集多數苞片與孢子葉而成為球花 (strobilus) 。 廣義的花，除被子植物及裸子植物外，也包含種子植物以外具孢子囊穗(球花)的植物， 因此，花可以說是著生孢子囊(sporangium)或孢子葉(sporophyll)的莖軸。 ○ 被子植物的花 基本構造 花萼(萼片) 、花冠(花瓣) 、雄 蕊、雌蕊；花萼與花瓣合稱為 「花被」，雄蕊、雌蕊合稱「花 蕊」。 完 全 花(complete flower) 具花萼、花 冠、雄蕊、雌蕊的花。 不完全花 至少缺花萼、花冠、雄蕊、 (圖片引用 ：T.
