METHODS The related materials were looked up and sort out. RESULTS The research of herbal textual, effect on national culture, using of medicine, processing method and chemical constitution were reviewed. CONCLUSION Artemisia frigida Willd. often used as a folk Mongolian medicine and it is widely distributed throughout Inner Mongolia, but the modern researches of Artemisia frigida Willd. are only a few and need further research.
