AHHHH UC Berkeley!!! Well UC Berkeley is one of the most competitive universities out there. Their academics are awesome so that their students enrolling can and will be successful. The environment in an around the campus is full pride, students, parents, tourists are always seen with a smile on their faces. Its a good thing because who wouldn't be proud of their hard work to achieve this extraordinary opportunity. I also like the way the campus has a lot of diversity, so anyone attending doesn't feel uncomfortable. There is just so much good about UC Berkeley personally I would recommend this university to anyone not because everyone is talking about Berkeley but the fact that it's just so welcoming with diversity and a lot to offer you.

I know many people like to complain about the competitive atmosphere at Cal, and there are times when it gets to me too, but I also try to remind myself what a great opportunity it is that I get to go to a school where the professors have written our textbooks and where I really do learn something new every day. On top of that the social experience is what you make of it, if you don't try to get involved then you won't be involved, but there are thousands of clubs and activities on campus so there's no excuse in not finding something that interests you!The experience is what you make it! It's either sink or swim, and you've got the resources available to learn to swim!

UC Berkeley presents many opportunities and allows students to connect with amazing professors. The academic atmosphere is at a high level and can feel intimidating at times, but there are always resources provided by the school to help students academically and emotionally. The campus itself is beautiful combining the classic university architecture of the east coast with nice pockets of nature that allow students to relax. The only negative aspects are the dorms and the safety in the city of Berkeley. Some of the newer dorms are nice, but there are also some very old dorms that need to be renovated. Also while campus is fairly safe, the surrounding city has lots of homeless and it is always safer to travel in groups.

I love the atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and are willing to help you in any way possible. They provide a lot of resources for their students in order to make sure they are a success in their field of study. The students are also very friendly and welcoming as well. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in furthering their education.

There is wireless access all over the campus so students can work anywhere they would like, indoors or outdoors. The wifi is quite reliable and fast although occasional short-term breaks will occur. The libraries carry enough computers all with the latest softwares in the typical format of large clusters and in the format of individual workstations. Each house has its own computer room equipped with color printers.
