摘要

榆树(Ulmus pumila Linn.)为落叶乔木，生态绿化和观赏价值较高。文章概述了榆树的资源状况、生物学特性、生态习性，探讨了榆树的文化内涵、经济作用，阐述了榆树适于园林应用的优良特性及其配置形式，并探讨了榆树开发利用的前景。

Abstract

Ulmus pumila is a kind of deciduous tree, which has high value of Eco-green and ornamental. This paper gives a brief commentary on the resource attributions and biological, ecological characteristics of Ulmus pumila. It summarizes the abundance cultural connotations of Ulmus pumila, states main ways of their applications in landscaping, and suggests their prospects in exploitation and utilization.
