Set up Family Sharing in the Apple TV app

Family Sharing lets you share viewing privileges with up to six family members. One adult in your household—the family organizer—invites family members to join the family group and agrees to pay for any purchases made by family members.

Create a Family Sharing group

You can’t create a Family Sharing group directly in the Apple TV app. You must start a new family group and invite people to join using a Mac, iPhone, or iPad.

To create a Family Sharing group, follow the steps in the Apple Support article Set up Family Sharing.
